Should free speech protect hate speech as well?
We recently had a deputy in France that defended a song called "Fuck France" in which the lyrics were discriminatory and haineous, going as far as saying that they're going to wipe their ass with some of our national symbols.
As a frenchie, I naturally don't wanna support this, but if I want to censor it or wish that the authors got arrested over hate speech, does it go against the principle of free speech? Am I an hypocrite if I want this taken down because I don't want stinky mudslimes to shit on my country while I still pretend that I support free speech?

Of course the mainstream ideology only wants to ban a certain type of hate speech. That's where the hypocrisy lies.

Otherwise you pass the right to criticize to (((a government body))) who speaks on your behalf.
