No. The show was brilliant and Serling was a genius. But I have some friends that recommended "Black Mirror" to me. I still haven't gotten around to watching it, but they tell me it's pretty good with a similar style.

The episode where the military guy is in an empty town and is freaking out because he's all alone and then weird shit starts happening like he's not alone but he doesn't see anyone. Turns out he was training for space flight and being alone in a enclosed space for an extended period of time and he failed the training and had to be taken out of the pod.

"Two" is one of my personal favorites, along with the episode about the false alarm nuclear launch where the one guy with a bomb shelter watches his neighbors turn into raiders and try to kill him and his family for their shelter and at the end they just have to act like "oh.. Well lol thank God it was a joke right neighbor?"

the movie was decent. The best vignette, imo (the boy with mind reading powers) was actually borrowed from the original series (It's a good Life).

Elizabeth Montgomery was so damn fine in this.

Watched the entire series (all three of them, actually) just last year. What an amazing show.

The one episode with prisoner whose cell is an entire asteroid all to himself and then the guards bring him his very own sex-bot as a reward for his good behavior. The ending could be used as a cure for the MGTOW problem.

It's worth the watch, but some episodes are just blatant propaganda. Skip out on San Junipero and Season 3 (besides Hated In The Nation). The Waldo Moment and White Christmas are probably good watches too, but especially the latter.

I'm watching the series on Netflix right now and about halfway through the first season. So far my favorite is S01E11 "And When the Sky Was Opened". The writing in all of them is phenomenal though. Serling really knew how to do tension and drama. And not once have I felt my intelligence insulted.
