What ever happened to the "American Dream" and its equivalent in other countries, /pol/?
Was it ever a thing, if so what made it disappear?
Boomers sold out future generations

According to OPs pic, I've done everything on that list (except retire) over 10 years ago and I'm not even 40 yet. The American dream is alive and well but you have to work for and want it.
I think the will to have those things is dead, and what killed that? Feminism and every retard being tricked into going to university and starting adulthood with tremendous debt.
Had I went to college I am certain that I would not be nearly as successful as I am. Look at those who are living the dream, it's mostly tradesmen with stay at home moms taking care of the house and kids while he earns a good living.

The American dream was always about a better future for your children. It meant that a European serf, who had been serf's for generations, could have a child who could be educated.
Today the American Dream has been so successful and so ubiquitous that everyone takes it for granted.
>start driving at 20 (autistic af)
>become managing wagecuck
>THINK about starting business, tell yourself you're sick of your boss, never leave wagecuck job though.
>start making 40k a year (obviously not USD because thats poor as fuck)
>Retire AT 70 (for our generation of wagecucks)
>die at 71
>40k at 37
