What OP doesn't understand and what a lot of stupid people don't understand is that none of these SE are the Republicans to lose, they are all Democrats to gain. Republicans can literally win all of these by 1 vote and be fine. It is the Democrats who need the +10% victories, not the Republicans.

In a normal situation, yes it would be troubling for Republicans to win by a small margin, but this wasn't a normal situation. The Democrats put everything and the kitchen sink into Ossof, needing a win to energize their quickly deflating voters. They rolled out the red carpet and spent a fortune on him. They even called the election a "referendum on Trump" in order to bring national spotlight on a special election that meant absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, and they lost to Granny-Goodness who was only given about 4 million dollars for her entire campaign.

Ossoff spend 50 million dollars to raise the turnout of this (as you noticed) special election to the max, almost matching the number of voters that showed up at the general election and still lost. It shows the opposite of what you are trying to prove, it actually show that in a circumstance that people really care (regular election) republicans have a reserve of 70k voters to target while democrats reached their limit no matter how much they spend.

Also remember that this district is right outside of Atlanta, hardly a safe red zone. It just so happened that Tom Price, the previous incumbent, was a very popular illustrious son of the community, being a doctor that gave free treatment to poor people in the area.
