Why I always go to /r/The_Donald before /pol/.
While I think pol is a superior forum, with more genuine posters, the shill threads are getting out of control. TD has moderators that ensure their theme is maintained.
On pol you never know if your thread will get deleted, just because someone doesn't understand it. Meanwhile nonpolitical threads about fast-food and porn run amok.
Why waste time browsing threads when half are irrelevant shill posts and the others feature vomit inducing images?
/pol/ should be better than TD.....

agreed. I also never understood why liberals even bother coming to /pol when they literally have hundreds of other liberal echo chambers to choose from. This is one of the few places a conservative can even voice their opinion, and liberals have to try to shut the place down or try to infiltrate it.
It's really pathetic how tyrannical liberals are.

they do it for two reasons:
it works, and they're allowed.
A real-deal free for all wouldn't be so bad, but that's not the case here. Valid threads get deleted while inappropriate ones don't, based on a moderator's judgment.
