Need some advice /pol/

Currently a non denominational christian without a church, and I am kinda lonely in my faith. I want a community. My gf is Catholic and my best dude friend is Lutheran. I know the two are similar and I don't which one I would prefer to be in.

Gf says it doesn't matter to her, becuase they are pretty similar, and dude friend thinks that being a Catholic would be cool, but he was raised Lutheran so he doesn't want to convert. So /pol/, I'm at a crossroads.

Do I pursue Catholicism or Lutheranism? Which is more fulfilling, and what would bring me closer to God and Christ?
