Democrats have been losing in politics since 2010, but they have firmly won the culture and social issues. The only thing they will never win is the gun debate, but other than that most of the cultural issues have been won by the left.

Abortion. No way that's being overturned.
Gay rights. Even Recucklicans are super ethusiastic about this. Trump is the first LGBT friendly president to ever win the white house.
Transrights. Even the alt-right prides itself on how unlike Muslims they are in their pro trans stances.
Racism. You can be fired from any job if you are suspected of it. There is legislation against it and you better watch the fuck out if you even make an accidental remark.
Trade. Trump has more in common with Bernie than Hillary when it comes to trade. In fact, he openly embraces protectionism.

There is no way the Republicans will ever turn these issues back. Yeah, bask in these small victories while you can, but you still have to pay for sluts' birth control.
