If election day became a national holiday, would it benefit republicans or democrats more?

republicans, if they got time off work to vote it would lead ti higher voter turnout, most democrats don't have jobs so having a day off would be irrelevant
>holiday
wtf nigger nobody gets holidays off anymore

I wouldn't know that, because I don't live in the West.
What we need is to be able tap our phones a couple of times for whichever candidate we want. If there was a party that picked their candidates that way I would join regardless of their politics.

>What we need is to be able to commit election fraud extremely easily in a way which is impossible to trace or even notice until long after the deed has been done
Good plan.

Making it a national holiday wouldnt stop people from working. All it would do is create another day that i could get paid time and a half

Red Ted Redemption was my favorite story arc of last campaign season.
Also it probably wouldn't benefit either party. The people at my office who don't vote regularly just don't care for politics and would probably treat it like any other holiday. Between absentee and mail-in ballots there are plenty of opportunities for people who want to vote but might not be able to on election day. I have never met anyone who said "I would love to vote, but I just can't find the time to do it"

if people can bank online they can vote online
thats a way to do it right there just integrate it into your online banking
i have a much higher tolerance for election fraud than i do for waiting in line for hours with the unwashed masses
