I feel you OP. Best thing to do is be frugal & try to get student loans. Get a quick 2 year degree, find a job which pays & repeat the process. That's my plan anyway. America is great but it's tough as fuck to get ahead if you don't have some kind of family/support system.

You are probably too stupid to understand this, but it doesn't matter how hard you work. Your labor is worthless by itself. What matters is what you do, and how many people desire it. You can bust your ass all day digging holes in the ground, but if nobody wants to pay for that, your efforts are a waste.

Also, stop living in a location that is obviously outside your income level.
