Is there anything to this? So a few months ago Hurricane Preparedness week happened in the gulf coast and they were saying that in the last few years, the official recommendation was to have a few days worth of supplies per person to make it through power outages and the like, but this year they have bumped that up to a week's worth of supplies per person.
Now bear with me here, but rumor has it that the government has the tech to "steer" hurricanes, as it were. People say this is what happened with Katrina in 2005, which conveniently hit Louisiana and resulted in tons of black refugees flooding Texan cities. Now we haven't seen a major hurricane in a while now, but I believe they are getting ready to send another our way this summer to destabilize things a bit more.
Could it be as late as late august/early September to coincide with the other happenings? Any Gulf Coasters here? how are you guys preparing?
