Is it normal that i really don't care about some fucking animal all the way in Spain, i also don't care about the people and animals that have nothing to do with me.

For example, if someone i knew really well died, i would be overwhelmed with sadness and sorrow, but when i hear the news that some random person that i've never met in my life died in a terrorist attack, i don't feel anything, i'm totally indifferent.

Then i see the comments and reactions of other people who are actually sad about it, even when it's an animal like in this case, and i ask myself if i'm normal, is it normal to be so sad about people you don't personally know? If yes, then which mental illness do i have?

Humans are complicated to understand.
