It's so sad to watch people who dont believe walking around in life, disconnected and getting upset about irrelevant things.

By that definition everything you believe is a lie because it's a belief. Everything about the future is a lie. Believing that you will still exist tomorrow is a lie too, yet nothing bad comes from that belief.

There is plenty of evidence, look around you. Stuff exists, it had to come from somewhere.

God might be some kind of alien, some interdimensional entity, some programmer who created us all as a simulation. All 'logical' right?

You believe in something based on incomplete information, giving you the best possible life in the right now. I call that pretty smart.
If God ends up not existing, so what? You lived a great life because you believed in it, good job. Literally nothing bad resulted from your belief in God.

Those are religions. People will always be imperfect, but your belief in God is not tied to anybody else's interpretation or organization. You are just scared that you become like them, I get it. It's dangerous to believe in a lie, but remember: The future is a lie. You can believe in it and still end up okay, so why not the same with God?

Can you really though? Because you might think so but you might just be in a great spot in life. You might have all your needs met, you have enough food, sex etc. to be happy so that you dont have to think about anything.
But then tragedy hits and who helps you then?

So is sugar, words and air. Everything oppresses and controls you in some way. Please get a new argument.
