Hey, does anyone wish for a united earth, sometimes. We need a government that can get us to space, and advance humanity, not keep it down (like the far right and far left are doing right now).

Sure, nobody's saying they're a different species. But all the scientific evidence points to their average IQ being somewhere between 70 and 80. If you deny that, you're denying science, and you're no better than a creationist.

Stop watching sci fi movies. We aren't at the stage of interstellar travel yet; figure out your shit at home before you take on the world. The strongest group deserves to traverse the cosmos, not some amalgum of compromise.

We're a solid 2-3 centuries before the planet can "Unite" there's far far too many problems.

Not only that, but we can't allow ourselves to fall for the un-elected malicious-elite controlled narrative of one world globalism.

Space is a fantasy when we need to focus on restoring our nation-states back to uniformed individual power/success, emphasizing the greater good of the future.

Then and only then can we earn our way to the next level of outer worldly expansion.

It's not a race, democratic capitalism with the emphasis of empathy and brotherhood will be the only way to truly step above the corrupt world of authoritarian collectivism that 'ideological politics' has given us.

It's time we started thinking like the elite for mutual/benevolent and true success in the future. The answer to that is setting very long term goals in improving the human state of self.

Space is point Z.
We're at point A.

Lead the way today so in 7 generations our descendants can ensure the future for Earth and assurance of outer worldly expansion.

Saviors of the white race will leave earth with a bunch of smart qt asians, leaving behind the planet to douse in radiation with niggers, beaners and dune coons.

Neo-whiteys and their asian whores will come back about a thousand years later to witness genetic mutations that turned niggers into gigantic Jurassic era type creatures and the other two races are nowhere to be scene, besides some type of sheep/human hybrid hanging around the middle east that Niggozaurs like to hunt.

At this point we will beam this planet to the KEK dimension and trade it with our god for a couple pounds of antimatter, whom we managed to contact after leaving the solar system's shield blocking off incoming alien communications. This shield was actually personally discovered by Alex Jones and revealed in his now delet video he posted the night before he was assassinated by Israel.

Fun fact WW3 was actually a war of many allied countries against jews, sadly shekel infused programs to improve surveillance technology had made the state so powerful that it was decided by a small team that earth had to be left behind. Fighting them was a waste of time, this earth was doomed and we let them die on it.

>It is such a shit region. It needs to be integrated.
That's the thing, "integration" would spell disaster. Just look at blacks whether they live in America, Latin America, Europe, or even Asia nowadays. They're always the most poor, uneducated and criminal group. And the real reason for that is not that the various countries they inhabit are all "racist", but that blacks aren't smart enough to compete in a technologically advanced society.

"Integrating" them, with their high birthrates, would mean that after a few generations the whole world would look like the Congo. And then you can say goodbye to your dreams of exploring Mars. Heck, you can say goodbye to a functioning electricity grid and running water.

Government programs that pays retards at NASA not to build anything useful, that pays SpaceX to put stupid shit in space that is not needed at all. ISS is a waste of time and resources.
Government that incentivizes women to not seek out good husbands, to seek out divorce. A government that protects people from their immoral actions and thus, encourages it. A state that replaces family.

You don't fucking get it do you? Your space socialism is what got us here. Subhuman invested cities full of high time preference ingrates who should have never been born.

FTL stands for Faster Than Light travel. Basically, it is impossible to go faster than the speed of light according to our current understanding of physics, and the amount of energy to get closer and closer to the speed of light itself exponentially grows the closer you gets.

Terraforming Mars is possible, with lots of effort. Terraforming the Earth's moon is also possible, albeit temporarily (it would require constant work to keep it terraformed) and it would require even more effort, and generally not be worth it.

FTL is the acronym for "Faster Than Light." Warp drive in Star Trek, hyperdrive in Star Wars. As we understand physics now, the speed of light is the hard speed limit of the universe. With sufficiently advanced theoretical propulsion, like nuclear fusion powered engines, it might be possible to travel at significant fraction of the speed of light. Distances between stars are measured in light years, the number of years it takes light to travel a given distance. The closest started to ours is Alpha Centauri which is 4.367 light years away. Assuming we could build an engine capable of traveling at 1/4 the speed of light (not possible with current technology) it would take a little over seventeen and a half years to reach Alpha Centauri the fastest manned object ever built was the Apollo Saturn V which reached velocities of 24393.79 miles per hour. At that speed it would take 137k years to reach Alpha Centauri. So without enormous advances in technology, we aren't leaving the solar system anytime soon. Terraforming is a term for the theoretical process of converting marginally uninhabitable world's, such as Mars, into earth like planets by introducing oxygen, plant and animal life. This is also beyond our current technology.

>but would teleportation ever be possible
Theoretically, if we could create negative matter (which is something that does not currently exist and we have no knowledge of how to create it), we could open up a wormhole and go through that, which is pretty close to teleportation.

For FTL travel, we could theoretically make space itself "bend" to form a sort of "wave" pushing us forward faster than light, but once again, the knowledge of how to do this is non-existent.

Personally, I think both are impossible, because of Fermi's Paradox.

Believe it or not, most of us rednecks have a grounding in the physical sciences through what you might call practical application. One job a construction company had to do was to decorate the concrete face of a dam. To do this, the lake behind the dam had to be drained to a certain level well below the spillways. While the engineers were trying to figure out a pump system, the construction foreman went out and bought a lot of 12" PVC pipe and a basket ball. The pipe was assembled with one end in the lake to the level it needed to be drained. The other side was place over the low side of the dam. The basketball was placed in the low side and inflated, sealing the end. Then a garden hose fitting was attached at the top of the pipe and the whole thing was filled with water. Once full, the foreman went to the low end and stabbed the basketball with a knife. The siphon action drained the lake in two days.

>What is fermi's paradox?
Basically, the universe is a really fucking big place, so if there were aliens, we should have contacted at least some of them by now. After all, all it takes is one alien race to get super advanced for them to start colonizing everything and spreading throughout the stars.

People have different theories for why this is. Some say we're the only ones out here, some say the aliens all end up killing themselves before they can colonize other planets, some say that the aliens are actually so advanced that they're communications don't pick up our archaic radio devices.

My theory is that faster-than-light travel simply isn't possible, so the aliens simply can't colonize more than their own solar system, and eventually their sun will go supernova, killing all of them.

>what is fermi's paradox
- There are billions of stars in the galaxy that are similar to the Sun,[2][3] many of which are billions of years older than Earth.[4][5]
- With high probability, some of these stars will have Earth-like planets,[6][7] and if the Earth is typical, some might develop intelligent life.
- Some of these civilizations might develop interstellar travel, a step the Earth is investigating now.
- Even at the slow pace of currently envisioned interstellar travel, the Milky Way galaxy could be completely traversed in a few million years.[8]
Fermi's Paradox: Then where are they?

A united humanity wouldn't be a terrible thing if we found aliens, but otherwise it would just lead to stagnation. It's the same reason capitalism works better than communism, competition drives growth, and likewise nations need other nations to compete with so that they strive to reach new heights in their attempts to outdo each other.

It would take centuries. Saturn's rings are mostly water ice, so we'd probably start by "bombing" Mars with big chunks of Saturn's rings. Then once there was enough water, introduce blue green algae to start converting Mars' 95% Co2 atmosphere to Oxygen. Then once there O2 content was high enough, introduce more advanced plants and animals. We'd also have to figure out how to thicken the atmosphere. Probably by mining gasses from the gas giants and transferring it. It would be a centuries long project.

Fuck no! Governments are shit as is, and having a monopoly on government... Monopolies are shit.
Your only hope of a united earth would be an ancap society.

I have a feeling that this anon is right, but it would have to be under specific circumstances regarding the psychology, intent, and spread of alien life.

If the extraterrestrials are similar to us, they may encourage economic and societal competition between our species, if we come to a peaceful agreement.

If they're very different to us, things could easily become hostile. We practically have no way of predicting alien psychology outside of what we can gain from our planet's own organisms, but even then, there are some strange customers sharing our atmosphere.

That's all assuming that the aliens are roughly at the same technological level as us, which is very unlikely.

IF all the richest people shared their wealth all over with everyone, then, MAYBE the earth could be united. Until then, not a chance.

I disagree, but not for the reasons he does.

If we unite, we can use africans as slaves to mine materials for us, that we can use.

It does not mean they should be considered equals.

There's more than one type of globalism.

If I had one wish, it would be to give mankind a God that is irrefutably real; something to fear and revere that humanity can rally under for a common purpose.

That purpose would be to define everything. Mankind is unique (at least in what we know of the universe so far) in that it can ascribe meaning and definition to objects in the universe. A star would exist with or without us, but it would not be called a star were it not for us.

Therefore, I believe it is humanity's duty to explore the universe and ascribe definition to literally everything.

Virtually all of mankind's achievements in space came as a direct result of nation-states competing against one another.

This is where you're going to lose most of the people here, and I have to say, I'm included in them.

I don't think the situation is easy enough that you can apply such broad strokes to people so uniformly. Plenty of people are rich because they worked hard to become so. Plenty of people are poor because of their own complacency. Of course corruption exists that allows unfair success to some, but working off of this assumption completely disregards all others.

I would argue that governments and programs across the world be developed to encourage independence and responsibility, instead of acceptance of wealth from others and, essentially, entitlement. Teach a man to fish.

There will always be government, nigger. Anarchy of any sort literally just temporarily wipes the slate clean until some kike with the most resources declares control on all the locals. Unless you are the only person on the planet, there will always be government, because there will always be someone more powerful than another, whether it's a single family unit, a crowd, a tribe, or several billions of people. Government literally exists because, as we all know, nobody's equal.

Anti-matter or negative matter? Keep in mind these are two separate things. Anti-matter basically explodes when it comes into contact with normal matter, whereas negative matter would just behave weirdly. For example, if you dropped a negative matter block, it would actually go up, away from the Earth, because the gravity would be pushing on it instead of pulling on it.

One thought I had about fermi's paradox. Won't even say it's a hypothesis, just a thought. The universe is roughly 13.5 billion years old. Our solar system is about four and half billion years old. The early universe was made up of almost only hydrogen with some of the slightly heavier elements being created by the massive hot stars that formed in the early universe. Any element heavier than iron has to be created by the moment of detonation in a supernova. The early universe would have had very little in the way of anything heavier than hydrogen free. The universe would have been full of short lived hot burning stars that all would have formed relatively close to the same time and would have all detonated as supernovae relatively close to each other in time.since elements heavier than iron can only be created by the explosion of a supernova, it would mean the elements necessary for life would have only been generally available four and a half billion years ago. The first single celled organism appeared 3.5 billion years ago. The first multicellular organism appeared only 600 million years ago. The first vertebrates were 360 million years ago. The first land amphibians were 330 million years ago. The first mammal ancestor species was 260 million years ago. And so on. My idea is that if the elements from the early first generation supernovae were fairly evenly distributed, then we may well be in an evolutionary "sweet spot." A point where multiple "Goldilocks worlds" like Earth are reaching the point in evolution where we are right now, give or take a few hundred thousand years. Just a thought.

How do you feel about niggers in space? Imagine if we finally end up colonizing other planets and there were blacks that were going to be mixing with the populace and all future generations will have their DNA. Does it make you angry or sad?

I for one can't see it happening. I see niggers as an Earth species. I feel like if we ever need to abandon our planet we would leave at least the blacks behind.

Unironically this.

Imagine 10% growth year after year. Imagine spending power going up and cost of living going down. Won't happen till we end artificially induced inflation. Imagine 0% unemployment and having every human on the planet contributing labor to the human experiment.

Right now, our economy is spinning its wheels with inflation-driven consumerism. We're consuming what we create as soon as we create it. Only when you allow deflation to take its natural course can an economy build up enough capital to make a space elevator affordable. It will never be affordable under world government.

The only reason they don't allow deflation is because 1. printing money is easy, 2. we have debts we need to diminish, and 3. inflation increases consumption, which increases tax revenue. These problems will only accelerate under world government.

I honestly think that was their belief at the time. For all his belief in a United humanity, Gene Roddenberry was a product of his time. He was a decorated B-17 bomber pilot in WWII, survived two crashes as a civil airline pilot and worked as a motorcycle cop with the LAPD while moonlighting as a scriptwriter. He smoked, drank, swore like a sailor and slept with pretty much all the women involved with Star Trek and least once and carried on simultaneous affairs with Majel Barrett and Nichel Nicols. Dude might have dreamed of a Utopia, but he would have hated living in it. And he had his main character, Jim Kirk, want the same challenges. Which is why he was flying around the galaxy fucking green women instead of staying safe back on Earth.

Like I said, not even a hypothesis. But our own solar system has one goldilocks and two near misses. Venus was too close to the sun and Mars is just under weight enough that it couldn't hold on to its atmosphere long enough for anything more than single celled life to evolve. And since we've observed gas giants orbiting closer to their stars than Mercury orbits our sun, Rocky planets in and gas giants further out apparently isn't a hard, fast rule of solar system formation. So I don't know. But if life is something that forms pretty much where there's the right combination of amino acids, the universe may be lousy with single celled life. The complex multicellular life is probably a lot more rare. Bacteria can adapt to survive dormant in a vacuum. Tiny multicellular tardigrades can survive being frozen or desiccated. Larger stuff, like us, though is dicey. I'm guessing you'll have to find iron cored planets of similar mass to ours with the rotation of a molten core generating a magnetic field protecting the atmosphere. Mars failed because its small size meant that its core cooled sooner than ours, mostly solidified a couple billion years ago and shut down its magnetic field allowing the solar wind to strip away its atmosphere. Venus still has a nice magnetic field indicating a molten core protecting its atmosphere. Problem is, that atmosphere is acidic. So, I guess that the uneven distribution means there will be clusters of worlds that get a shot at a Goldilocks, maybe multiple shots in the same solar system, while other systems will be effectively dead with no chance of ever evolving life. We'd need to figure out the distribution and concentrate our efforts in looking at areas where the cluster of heavier elements make life more likely. I have no idea how, or even if this is a valid idea.

Space exploration is honestly one of the saddest things I hear people talk about. The thing that makes me the most angry is that it is used as the goal, the vision, for globalism and why we all need to eliminate the nation state and become a one world government: because it's the only way that "we can become a space species".
I'm going to drop the red-pill: the laws of physics of this universe do NOT allow for space travel to ever be something that we can do. Even if we ever enter the singularity (which we most likely won't) we won't be able to travel that far beyond our solar system. FTL doesn't exist, and wormholes are a god damn meme.
We're stuck on this planet, or at most, this solar system. You will never play with aliens. There will never be a galactic human space empire.

Quit blackpilling fag. We still have techs that need to be discovered, and the EM drive hasn't been tested for real yet. Light speed may never happen, but in our grandchildrens lifetime we will reach outside of the solar system, and in their generation the colonies they constructed will launch more into space. The cycle continues.
>>
>>130347780
I think something has to give at this point. IMO the world could unify by going after Africa. Portray them as aliens and you basically have your "aliens uniting mankind" scenario.
>>
>>130347780
Unfortunately this won't happen for hundreds, if not thousands of years. We need;

>System of government that legitimately cares for mankind and longevity of our species over its own goals
>Post sparsity, or incentive (see: cheaper) to mine terrestrial bodies outside our immediate vicinity
>War. The Earth is either deemed no longer habitable, or the losing faction just leaves Earth to find life elsewhere. If, however, the Earth is no longer habitable due to ongoing population crisis, uneducated masses etc, then there's practically no way anyone will be "allowed" to leave Earth without those trying to leave being strung up by the masses
>Are given technology by extraterrestrials and there's a whole Star Trek galaxy out there teeming with life that allows humanity to visit the stars at well below current price point
>We find out something is coming to Earth (meteor, invasion, orbit disruption) and need to leave as there is no other alternative. Again, will probably fail due to the masses deeming themselves and their family more important than the future of our race

If any of these LE SCIENCE xDD billionaires actually cared about the shit they preach, then you'd have Musk devoting 90% of his companies net profits toward this goal, or gearing said companies toward space flight.

Man kind doesn't deserve to visit the stars as we are. We've lost our way, and believe ourselves more important than any being or god in the entire universe.
