I don't think Canada has correctly predicted the fallout this will cause. Anyone who's transgender or feels like it that day can take people they don't like to court, not in front of a regular trial by jury, but a human rights tribunal, an independent branch of the justice system not subject to regular laws or legal precedents, who've stated flatly that "truth is not a defense".

They're going to be swamped with cases and the regular police force isn't going to appreciate having their time wasted by this nonsense. Would Canada approve an entirely parallel police force to enact the new rules of the HRT? What happens inevitably when police and the HRT get into conflict?
