The US is in another Civil War, and the US broke into the Union and the Confederacy again.
There's the technology, people, infrastructure, and weaponry of today, and the West is broken halfway. The SW goes to the CSA, and the NW and MW goes to Canada, as they took it from the Union in exchange for more immigrants from Canada.
Who would you side with? Who would you think [realistically] would win?
