I know 23andme son kikes mentirosos, but I don't know enough about my genetic background. My dad's family are from the north of Portugal. My grandmother on my mother's side is too. I know you're laughing, but it's really awful. I feel like a mixed-race guy (and I might be. My grandfather is from a borderline Arabic land). It really fucking sucks. "Fully Portuguese" could mean anything from "I've got a fuckload of Arabic and African genes" to "I'm mostly Germanic" to "I'm mostly Celtic" to some sort of mix from all. Same for you Spain-san. Compare someone from Andalusia to Galicia.

Probably a mix of all of them really. 23andme isn't too good for mena populations and non-ashkenazi jews, those results can be noisy and a bit off.
And people who are mena/european mixes. Odd results can come up for those. But it's good for everything else.

Use gedmatch and other tools, and just keep learning. Don't pay attention to /pol/ conspiracy theories.

All portuguese people from whatever the region are very similar to each other and also to spaniards. You won't find a portuguese dude who "got a fuckload of Arabic and African genes" and another who's "mostly Germanic".
If you actually do one of those genetics tests it will say you're majority Iberian so that won't be of any help and you will waste your money.
What Portugal has (specially the south) is more moorish ancestry than the rest of the peninsula, but still low around 10%. Maybe you were just unlucky and because of genetic recombination you ended up inheriting the pigmentation genes from the moors.

Also, a difference of even 1% is still fairly substantial. there's a difference of around 2% iirc between humans and chimps.


And it varies. Certain communities are distinctively different from each other. Transmontanos look far more celtic and you even find some gingers there. Alentejanos look brown as fuck and the facial features are different.

iirc aryan just means original native Europeans. The definition of aryan as "blonde with blue eyes" is fairly new.
