As ive gotten more redpilled and white nationalist I find it harder and harder to listen to the obnoxious nigger tainted crap that contaminates 90% of modern popular music. So i listen to a lot of classical now, as well as a lot of European folk music, Gregorian chants etc etc. Its a shame that so many white folks today judge musics value by the standards of the nigger centric "ooh ahh, i was up in da club" RNB and rap garbage that they get constantly bombarded with.

Much better, but after a bit it turns into pure counterpoint again, it's as engaging as drone.

But this, on the other hand, I can get behind, the composer uses skill not as a crutch, but as tool for embellishing the peaks in his music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiIVA7tQIDo
There is also some repetition, which gives the piece a feeling of structure. Not saying that Bach doesn't use motifs or whatever, but he just does it in very subtle ways.

Not really. I think the Cello Suites are fairly easy on the ears. Maybe hit the most popular ones, air on the g string, jesu joy of man's desiring, toccata and fugue. If you start with art of fugue you're not gonna just tune into it right away. He is actually fairly varied.

It's still made, lots of it goes into movies, and it's difficult to find but it's out there.

Bach made baroque music, which to me also sounds a bit silly and outdated. He still did some very crazy things and was certainly one of the best musicians who ever lived. But I'm personally such a huge romanticism fan boy that I don't even like Mozart or Bach for that matter. To me romanticism was the peak of the art, although there were still some great composers around shortly after that. Like for example impresionists like Ravel and Debussy. But after that the art completely died a brutal and sudden death. Today we can be thankful for minimalism like Philip Glass, which at least is harmonic.

>The story behind “Devil’s Trill” starts with a dream. Tartini allegedly told the French astronomer Jérôme Lalande that he dreamed that The Devil appeared to him and asked to be his servant. At the end of their lessons Tartini handed the devil his violin to test his skill—the devil immediately began to play with such virtuosity that Tartini felt his breath taken away. When the composer awoke he immediately jotted down the sonata, desperately trying to recapture what he had heard in the dream. Despite the sonata being successful with his audiences, Tartini lamented that the piece was still far from what he had heard in his dream. What he had written was, in his own words: “so inferior to what I had heard, that if I could have subsisted on other means, I would have broken my violin and abandoned music forever.”
