What if being gay/lesbian is just a fetish in which is so widely

I've often thought of homosex as a fetish, but I think it's somewhat different from other sex fetishes because there is an aspect of non-sexual love which enters into it for many/most, in that homos recall that they had emotional attraction to others of their gender from a very early age. I.e., if a very young boy -- say 6 years old -- is attracted to other boys as love interests, it's perhaps not a fetish at that point, unless we wish to redefine what a sexual fetish is, etc.

Its somewhat different tho.

As a gay person i also have the whish to be i also have a non sexual wish to have a relation with a men. like heterosexuals have the wish to have a relation with somebody of the opposite gender.

Im sure that to some extend their is a overlapping between simple fetishes and sexuality, but i doubt its the same
