Why did all women turn into this?

It's as if they didn't realize the Simpsons characters were supposed to be flawed stereotypes

>The fat idiot father
>The 'hear no evil, say no evil, speak no evil' mother who turns away from her families faults almost all the time, especially her husbands
>The son who takes after his father's worst aspects, causes chaos, and doesn't think about his future, no discipline, complete train wreck mostly
>The daughter who is starved for attention, but no one gives af because it's almost always pure narcissism instead of self-fulfillment. Does good things but almost always just so people notice her or praise her. Likely deep resentment of her father.

You know the shitty family paradigm is understandable, in fact it works if there's love. It feels like this generation skipped the family bit and just never grew up.

What happened? Grow up with all these family shows, deep illustrations of family love. Yet our generation is the one to basically become the generation that kills the family unit. It's like everyone's takeaway from those shows was that being in a family sucks.

Now we watch Game of Thrones and shit like Breaking Bad. Alternatively we watch Marvel movies or some other droopy-eyed shallow dogshit. What does that even say about us?
