God is the universe itself. The only question is if it has a consciousness or not. But why do we have consciousness? How can such a thing be created out of dead materials? I dont know.
>>130023583
question: do you ever think computers can reach consciousness?

God doesn't want you hiding in church. He wants you to get out there and fight evil!

church is within the morning, before the day starts, this is done in order to remind ourselves of the righteous paths that exist amongst the chaos till dusk

That night wont be an instant event, but I think it possibly could be the beginning of something larger.

Literally September 23rd is my last hope for believing in a biblical end times in my lifetime.
If nothing happens by then, I'm just gonna buckle down and start realizing that my apocalyptic wet dreams aren't happening and try to be more of a normie.

No, because they dont life. Machines just take in input and create some form of output. Us humans are more than that. If you create the perfect clone of yourself (same memories, same thoughts, same feelings, same everything) he still wouldnt be you.
And machines are missing exactly that (call it soul, call it personality, whatever) the thing that makes you you and that makes you aware that you exist.

fair enough
what about apes?
dogs, cats. when is the line drawn for an animal to have consciousness
genuine question, not a troll
>>130026286
Its pretty hard to tell if animals have consciousness. Maybe they are nothing more than machines that react to input. On the other hand there are some species that show real emotions (elephants grieving dead family members) which means that they atleast know about the concepts of life and death (do they understand it tough?).
But are emotions really more than an output to some form of input? Its an extremely hard (and good) question.

something great to explore whilst using psychs
you ever done psychs?
ive found them to be really generally red pilling substances and allow you to be in a state of higher consciousness

I see it as there being varying levels of consciousness. Humanity is about to have a choice it must face and there will be other species taking our place as the "sentient" one on earth. There in the garden of Heaven on earth we will tend to all of God's creatures and raising them like our little brothers and sisters of the planet. That is our destiny here, and peace, wisdom, and truth is what we take to the stars.
