HAPPENING IN GEORGIA- Two Inmates Kill Prison Bus Guards & On The Run
Quick Rundown:
>Donnie Russell Rowe, serving life without parole, and Ricky Dubose are still on the run from law enforcement after disarming and killing Sgt. Christopher Monica and Sgt. Curtis Billue at around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills said.
>Both escaped inmates were serving long sentences for armed robbery and other crimes. The Department of Corrections said Rowe, 43, has been serving life without parole since 2002, and Dubose, 24, began a 20-year sentence in 2015.
>Two Inmates on bus, gate somehow got unlocked and managed to attack and kill the two guards on the bus
>Both stole the guards .40 Cal Glock 22's and are considered to be armed and extremely dangerous
>Inmates flee the scene and carjack a lady and steal her Honda Civic
>Civic found later that day in Morgan County abandoned
>A white F-250 with a damaged rear quarter panel was found to be stolen nearby, no trace of which direction they may be headed in
>Suspects spotted in Madison County this evening, possibly headed to Elbert County where one of them has roots
>Reward currently at $120,000 for them
>Both considered to be EXTREMELY dangerous
