I mostly agree with you, OP. Our party has taken a serious turn toward the dorm room. It's being guided by the whims and attitudes of 19 year olds who feel so much and know so little. Even Bernie suggested giving up on the identity politics. The Dems are a party that is so diverse that UNITY is a primary necessity, but there are so many Democrats that have a media "brand" or a business interest in division. There are several areas of policy where our party is completely detached from reality AND the will of the voters.
