Iraqi man defended Muslim woman's honor by stabbing racists

That's the worse thing about these animals. They exploit the well meaning intentions of the swedes and use guilt against a more noble and sophisticated people.

It was during a train ride between Stockholm and Hallsberg April 22nd this year that Karim Alaa Hussain, 25, chose a hands-on approach against islamophobia in society.

When the train was near Bålsta, the female conductor asked a young passenger, a Muslim woman with a veil, to show her ticket. The woman then said she had already showed her ticket.

The other passengers thought the conductor was polite and acted appropriately, and that nothing indicated she did anything wrong. The Iraqi Karim Alaa Hussain, who was in the cabin, was very offended that the veiled woman was asked to show her ticket and chose to attack.

The 25 year old demanded to know why the conductor was messing with the girl. When the conductor explained she was just doing her job, Alaa Hussain became extremely threatening, and several Swedish passengers then tried to interfere and calm him down.

"Why are you interrupting, are you a racist or what?" the Iraqi demanded to know, according to witnesses.

He then threatened to kill one of the men and attacked him with punches to his face. The man defended himself, pushed the 25 year old into the wall and pulled him to the floor.

Alaa Hussain managed to get loose and stabbed the Swedish man four times with a knife in his side and his back, which among other things caused life threatening injuries to the man's peritoneum and small intestine.

After the attack the stabbed man, believing himself to be fatally injured, witnessed the Arab strolling around the train - where there was now complete panic - "as if he had just won a gold medal".

The 25 year old waved around the bloody knife, threatening to stab more passengers and asked a man and his daughter if they "were also racists", according to witnesses being quoted in the police preliminary investigation.

Another witness describes how the Arab then began a monologue on "everyone's equal value".

"He said everyone has the same value and that they should show respect. He also said everyone was a racist and that if the police arrived you know what happened", a witness said.

When the train stopped, Karim Alaa Hussain left and hid in the garden of a residential house, where the police found him. He had hidden his bloody knife in a flower pot.

In police hearings he explained he "was proud" he had stood up "for a little girl". He also tried to defend himself by claiming he acted in self-defense.

"I didn't go there to cut people up for fun. I have other things to do", the 25 year old said.

But that explanation didn't convince the Uppsala district court, who sentenced the man to eight and a half years in prison for attempted murder, among other things, this monday.

"The man initiated the violent confrontation and the plaintiff had reason to suspect further violence form the man, judge Eva-Lotta Johansson said in a comment.

"The plaintiff had little opportunity to escape the man or receive help. Hence, the accused has no right to claim self-defense, despite the violence he was subjected to", she continues.

Alaa Hussain is also found guilty of severe infliction of bodily harm, unlawful threat, theft of vehicle, severe reckless driving, unlawful driving, driving while under the influence, as well as minor narcotics crimes.

The Iraqi has 18 previous entries in the criminal records. August 27th 2015, he was sentenced to two months of jail for abuse of judicial procedure and attempted threat of a public servant, as well as three years and six months of jail for aggravated assault and arbitrary conduct. However, he was released October 23rd 2016, with one year, one month and ten days remaining of his time - after which he could keep committing crimes.

Karim Alaa Hussain has been granted Swedish citizenship, so with the current law he cannot be deported from Sweden regardless of the crimes he commits.

He was granted citizenship April 2nd 2008 - despite already having been found guilty of felonies, something Fria Tider revealed in the end of April.

Swedish media have been reporting little about this event, and have chosen not to mention the man's background or any details surrounding the motive of the attack.

It could be that he just loves Scandinavian culture so much after being allowed into Sweden that he brings a filleting knife with him at all times in case someone were to offer him a piece of gravlax. It could also be that he's a criminal who has a history of violent attacks. I'll let you decide which explanation you find more plausible.

This is the sort of mentality that leads towards people dying more frequently in confrontations. Society follows up by hyper-escalating violent reactions to the point where one will be more inclined to radical fight or flight mechanics for sheer disagreement. This in turn causes mob mentality, to the point where a stronger police state becomes imposed in order to ensure safety. Either a dystopic network of safety arises up or the local society fractures and attacks rise in frequency. It's basically the mentality of chimps and animals, no planning, just pure impulse at disliked stimuli.
