I've been around other parts of 4chan since 2011. If i'm being honest i've only started browsing /pol/ more often since 2015, and started posting here since late last year.

What did deter me from wanting to take part in what the rules claimed this board should be is the fact that it was so poorly moderated since my arrival and it was an absolute cesspit.
I wouldn't claim something without being sure of the source I found it from, and I would lurk threads rather than post if I know that i'm not well enough versed on the topic. People like me aren't the root of the problem

But for example, in Western Australia, people from Perth and people from a smaller town inland like Kalgoorlie are bound to have differing views too, so even on a statewide level the flag wouldn't do justice to the poster.
