Once you start talking race, you've already lost any legitimate claim.

The Americas were an untapped resource the entire world was looking to exploit. Once the colonies united and began expanding they needed labor to exploit these resources.

Chattel slavery is wholly inefficient. Its like having to raise your own cows for beef, instead of using a market. Slavery requires you to purchase, care for, train, and enforce obedience.....you waste way too much to get little return.

The early americas were expanded by land barons, not "whites".

Once you have mass immigration, you have a more viable labor to exploit, making slavery obsolete (see Irish/chinese/italians). Wage slavery is much more efficient

Spain was one of the first countries to outlaw slavery, moron. They never had slaves in Spain, either. Conversely, Spain was victimized by muslims, who raided the coasts and kidnapped men women and children into slavery before slavery in the Americas even existed.

Point being, the area was a geopolitical hotbed of many nations.....that were using slave labor provided by African tribes. Its all about globalization. Africans would've been stupid not to participate in the economy of slave trade (by supplying these nations with captured slaves and profiting).

Eh, the yankee states just couldnt compete with the slave economy. Northern territories don't lend themselves for much outside of grain and orchards or farms. None of which require the manpower that southern plantations of high demand commodities of sugar, tobacco, and rice. Couple that with how much easier it is to care for a slave in a tropical climate vs the tundra of NY and Ohio.

Southern states had commodities via slaves. Yankee states had industrialization / factories
