Neo-conservatism and Neo-liberalism are THE SAME THING.

Why is everyone so focused on fighting this imaginary communist threat from the social left when in actual fact it's the structure of modern industrial-millitary to endorse progressive social politics.

On one side this is called "freedom" on the other it's called "progress" but on both sides it's used to hide the true structure of society: Profit with a smile. Destruction with a handshake and a new government. Death to the west.

We need to FIGHT NEOLIBERALISM, NEOCONSERVATISM, and ISLAM...

Fuck all this other fake ass bullshit and posturing.

To make THE WEST great again; we need to have VALUES... you're being fed fake news, a false narrative, and a fake world. WAKE THE FUCK UP.

Everything you said is true, and I believe we are doing so. Neoconservatism is detested with nearly as much fervor here, and among like minded places, as any liberalism.

You fucking retard
Neoconservatism is an ideology
Neoliberalism is an economic philosohy

But Marxists hate Western values.

Yeah I actually like a lot of extreme leftists sometimes. Most of the are tired of identity politics as well, and care most about the working person. I do not like their theories or at times their methods, but these days you guys are almost saints compared to the hydra of the neocon/neolibs. Merkel, Clinton, Macron... God please come soon. Reminds me of that verse in Revelation.

15 know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other. 16 So because you are lukewarm — neither hot nor cold — I am about to spit you out of My mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.

Neoliberalism has become an ideology or sorts, though this is never agreed upon by the neoliberals. The neocons used to hate that term too. I think OP is talking about the spirit of these two factions, and how insidious it is.

>Neoconservatism is an ideology
>Neoliberalism is an economic philosohy

Neo-liberalism is the idea of having right-wing freemarket ethics where economics are concerned, and left-wing socially progressive ethics where all else is concerned.

This means your gay kid can buy a sweat shop T-shirt made by kids in the Middle East, and can wear it to the protest of the military industrial complex bombing them. You can't stop the bombing though, or the sweat shop, but at least you spoke up and live in a free society!

The Situationalists critique neo-liberalism, as did The Frankfurt School.

Here is a Situationalist documentary about the subject https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeSx0g-PnaE ... and The Frankfurt School's concept of The Culture Industry... and specifically Adorno's criticism of the structure of western indoctrination are both directed at what's come to be known as "neo-liberalism".

As Adorno puts it:

>Otherwise, despite its size, this bloated pleasure apparatus adds no dignity to man’s lives. The idea of “fully exploiting” available technical resources and the facilities for aesthetic mass consumption is part of the economic system which refuses to exploit resources to abolish hunger.

I do not think the Frankfurt School is going to impress very many folks here, anon. They were part of the movement to foster socialist projects through stealth. Seem pretty subversive to be honest. There is a disconnect for many like me who value the idea of private property and the right to defend one's community from the government.

This isn't about impression but reality. Adorno was right. Fromm was right. Marxists or not.

I think neo-Marxism, Social Democracy and worker based collectives can endorse those sorts of values and property rights - indeed I think they could even expand those rights.

Imagine if you owned your property, but also had a share in somewhere you worked. This is the idea behind Mondragon:

Its called having your own house and business. Its something that happens often in capitalism.

Or, what if we applied the same model to thousands of publily traded companies. This way, people could pick and choose who to invest in. They wouldn't be restricted, and they wouldn't have to work at the company they want to invest in.

If they don't like how things are being run, they can vote on changes or just sell their stake and invest elsewhere.

Mondragon isn't special. People can own the means of prosuction today if they just choose to invest instead of spend. You can buy in for less than $3000.

That is a system that works for everyone.

When you put it like that (in your pic) it seems pretty cool actually.
