What are /pol/'s thought on Puerto Rico?
Territory, state or independent nation?
I don't really care as long as they are not a state, I think they would be a drain on the economy.
Also Puerto Ricans are stupid and I don't want them to have representation.

They should be granted independence while we get naval basing rights. Essentially, a second Guantanamo on that island.

I hate Puerto Ricans. They are the worst people I've ever met.

This and in exchange for naval ports/military bases Americans still don't need passports to travel there. Keeping their main source of tourism.
own nation, but far, far more concerned about them not being a fucking state. you have to be a complete dumbass if you think they will vote right once they have free access to gibs. Bringing them up to economic speed will be nothing but a burden. Mississippi is our poorest state and its still half as wealthy as Massachusetts, our richest. Puerto Rico is in another galaxy economically.
Fuck off we're full

If they ever become a state the US is officially done.

It's happening man. Prepare for legal beaners to leech some more!
We already have a framework with Pacific islands called the Compact of Free Association. Seems about right.

oy vey we already pay federal taxes so we're not being a drain on anything. Plus we're already citizens and can come and go as we please from the states; so maybe if we're a state we'll stay here instead of migrating and diluting your precious white people demographics even more ;)

You're not getting 2 senators, pablo.
>>129481911
might as well ask that the independent Puerto Rico pays monthly tribute to the US while you're at it
Entitled faggot.
