Real unsuppressed value of gold is proably from 6-12k per ounce. Gold has stayed essentially the same price for a long time, whic is not natural. There's a whole bunch of market manipulation going on, everyone knows it, but nobody is going to stop the musical chairs.

Up until recently, silver was not scrutinized as much and more closely tracked its real value. But now we are seeing more people move to silver and the same market manipulations being done.Every time the price inches up, a fucking huge order comes through and the price reverts.

You've probably seen them, but they have these cards of gold where you can break them apart into individual grams or something like that. It's a neat idea. It's just that if you have any significant amount of wealth to store, then you're going to store most of it in relevant denominations.

It's kind of like the copper people. Obviously copper is valuable. A former friend of mine went to prison because he was stealing it to feed a heroin addiction. A bucket of extra plumbing bits is as valuable as selling my entire car for steel at the scrap yard.

I do think the USD will stop being the world reserve currency within my lifetime. China and Russia are building the One Belt, One Road coalition, and I do think they will come out with their own currency which will topple the USD as the World Reserve Currency.

When that happens, the US will experience hyper-inflation as all the dollars overseas come back to flood the market, and the US will just keep printing money to cover its debts and unfunded liabilities.
