What about gathering private army to invade and loot mountain jews? Quite a big army is needed but potential swag is HUUUUUGE.
You'd be spending more money on soilders widows than you'd get from swag.
Some fights aren't worth it

one can buy nukes if needed
I hate summer
>>129458017
any way in modern warfare "big army" means big firepower. E.g. you can just blackmail Swiss with shelling their cities of they will not pay hefty ransom.

invading syria and ukraine is not enough?
>>129458802
>syria and ukraine
what's the point, gulyash? they are poor
>>129458802
Both are pretty poor, they have more strategic value.
But Switzerland is great for loot.
>>129458802
Plus it's not like you are not itching to invade Transcarpathia yourself. So get off your high horse, mongol.
>>129458802
It's not really invading, more like passing by. Who's stopping them? Their defense is null.

Well if you only come with 8 million people or less and you mostly want to try and get the local houses and contents and are willing to get them at the cost of a lot of soldiers, then perhaps?
If you just want the moveable assets, I don't think it'll be worth it.

>only come with 8 million people
20 thousand of personal will be enough
point is to have huge firepower
probable business plan: blackmailing Swiss with shelling. All Swiss territory is within a reach of artillery.

Hmm... not sure about that, but maybe?
Huge firepower tends to cost a lot of money if it's not just conventional artillery, though.
> All Swiss territory is within a reach of artillery.
Well, if you get the surrounding EU on board with this, then probably?
But then you don't even really need any extra weapons, only time.

>if you get the surrounding EU on board with this
EU needs money to fix it's banking sector so they may agree
>>129460537
>Huge firepower tends to cost a lot of money if it's not just conventional artillery, though.
one needs conventional artillery including rocket artillery, plus AA stuff to protect artillery
>>129460867
They're already getting money from us because we are paying not to be EU members but still, you know, alive in the economic and real sense.
2bn / year and then some more every now and them.
>>129461014
Sure. Of course Russia has what's needed, but you'd have to deploy not TOO little of it to pull it off.
Switzerland is a smaller country with a cheaper army (<1% of GDP vs your >5% of GDP), but it was still financed for a handful of bn of USD / year, and hence has a few decent enough weapons to try and shoot back if you don't bring enough, eh.
