Can psychopaths ever feel love or any sort of attachment to someone?
Someone I know is a surefire psycho, she has all the traits as well as a diagnosis by a Doctor.
>impulsive
>lies incredibly easily
>immense sexual appetite and promiscuity
>revels in manipulating people, i.e. playing guys against each other
>lots of acquaintances but no close friends (she fucks all their boyfriends)
>pops and snorts drugs like it was going out of fashion
>doesn't care about collateral damage from her actions
>didn't give two shits when her pets died
>can change mood really fast and get reaallllyyyy nasty. Noting all your insecurities and spitting them in your face.
Yet sometimes she can be the most affectionate, loving, charming and nicest person you've ever met. The difference is like night and day.

You haven't seen anything like this, trust me.
I've been diagnosed with ASPD but I can feel love, at least I think it's love.

What's malignant narcissism?
Isn't narcissism where you love yourself to the point of infatuation?

these are the personality disorders
narcissist
>Egotistical, arrogant, grandiose, insouciant. Preoccupied with fantasies of success, beauty, or achievement. See themselves as admirable and superior, and therefore entitled to special treatment. Is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings.

>Can psychopaths ever feel love or any sort of attachment to someone?
Not sincerely.
>>129376774
Aren't you thinking of sociopaths? Also, they often try to feel emotion but physically can't empathize. They can't feel love or attachment any more than your cat can feel attached to you because you provide it with food and shelter.

(((((diagnosed))))))) psychopath here AMA

>Yet sometimes she can be the most affectionate, loving, charming and nicest person you've ever met. The difference is like night and day.
You sure that's genuine? Maybe she's just being manipulative.
>>129376774
>psychopaths
not a thing OP.
>>129379493
I think they're the same thing, no? A lack of empathy. Some psychopaths/sociopaths are successful though so they must gain friends somehow even with the handicap that is a lack of empathy.
>>129379505
That's the thing, it sure seems like the real thing but I don't know.
>>129377864
Both long time relationships were just like that. What gives?
>>129379575
Utter drivel
>>129376774
No but they are great at faking it, their brain literally is missing the part that makes you feel empathy or compassion.
A psycho can fool you, but they cant fool a brain scan.
I get bored of girls really quickly , like after a week I want them gone . I am also extremely selfish and only think of how to use people to benefit my position , and I get angry if a person isn't selflessly helping me
I'm getting better though as I realize I have a problem
Yes, if somebody dies. Psychos feel good.

It is an Instrumental by the GOAT rock band RUSH on the Snakes and Arrows album.

Can you tell if they're faking it without a brain scan?
sounds like most women
