I wanted to share a thought I've been having with all of my northern european second cousins.
The true accomplishment of Greeks was how they living a life where slave's worked for them and thus needed not most of the menial labour and didn't for the most part experience shortages managed to not become degenerate but instead trained their youth to be free thinkers and incredible warriors,they spent their whole life training and trying to become the most buff gay guy ever,sure they were gay but still they were training since their earliest youth for battle.
Nowadays we don't experience food shortages either and live an easy life where most of our labour is done by machines and instead of spending our free time trying to become uber mensch and being buff and we'll cultureD most are degenerate hedonist addicted like animals and some in america being in their bases of instincts addicted to food like some animal who will eat itself to death...and we have even more freedom nowadays and even more things available to better ourselves.

Greeks knew the value of keeping morality even in peace time and even in abundance very very few cultures have been able to do so,the romans tried and while frugality was kept as a virtue it's empire grew,so did all empires...
