Anon, that is already happening. I don't know what your schooling system is like in Canada, but I teach at uni here (hence my unending sympathy for Peterson). I get people that are barely able to write in their mother tongue without errors. They don't use complicated words and when I try to use those, they don't get it.
My mother taught in high school and she had people who were 14 and couldn't do a division.
Education today is gone and done with. What did you need to learn in school before? Read, write, and some maths. Now you have a population that can't even handle paperwork because they do not understand what the city wants from them.

Dingdingding. I went to a mediocre 4 year school, some good programs but not particularly hard to get into at all. The only people who actually failed out were either genuinely retarded, emotionally wrecked, or just drunk constantly. You REALLY have to try to fail out of college.

Now, the degree is just a formality. Kids in class would literally get mad at the teacher to their face for not explicitly telling us every question AND answer on the test, essentially making it a "show up, partially listen, memorize and pass" kind of thing. I didn't show up to 75% of my classes and graduated without a problem in four years, it shouldn't fucking be that way. It's glorified daycare, and I say that as someone who was there LAST YEAR.

The only people I ever saw stressed or doing a lot of work were 1. Stupid fucks who had to try or 2. STEM guys, who were genuinely smart and still had to work pretty hard. We also had a hotel management and hospitality program, which is fucking infuriating and embarrassing that a university would seriously offer that. Might as well go back to home-economics.

Unless you want to go into academia, a basic office job, a stem field, higher ed (lawyer doctor etc.), don't bother with the "college experience". Get a shitty job and make money and go to community college part time, transfer after two years after applying for every bull shit scholarship ever (there are HUNDREDS for every sub section of people that will give you a few hundred for applying with a one page essay). Get your degree and get out, in three if you can pull it.

OR be like me and have wealthy parents and just show up to class once in a while, pass, get drunk by noon, get your dumb papers and move on.

Well then, we find common ground. I believe the average IQ of someone with a college degree in America is 115, so that's around the 84th percentile and higher. In Canada, we give passing grade to some minority token students, but the other minorities that get in are often the rich from other countries, so they are very likely to have a high IQ.

Now, I assume that Peterson wants to get men back into school. The problem being, is that men with high IQs are likely already in the STEM field, as they found school a breeze. He would then try to select people that avoided university and are interested in humanities, so maybe people in a similar range of most college students, but with lower levels of agreeableness, but then the vast majority of them wouldn't be able to be gain a degree from his schooling, and the practical use for them is effectively zero. I just don't see why he would focus on making people likely to be successful even more successful. It's not solving any problems, and ironically, it spites the people who gave him money as they won't even be able to pass.

I don't even think the "left over" problem is a matter of money, it's a problem of their inability to get status and the rage that will follow. I warned of the dominance hierarchy becoming to steep, and I fear that there will be much more unrest than current levels if you don't give these people a way to hold their head higher in society.

All I want to know is just where Peterson is going with this. This man wouldn't even use his own money to back this idea, and instead is bringing in bankers as partners. How could Peterson make college affordable in this situation when he can't even give his 1500 word self authoring program away to his supporters? I'm interested in how do you stop procrastinating. I suppose it's a step by step thing as with all stuff that scares you.
But procrastination is also sometimes being scared of what they'll ask next because you're exhausted. So how do you deal with that.

That isn't correct. People with that IQ are classified as retarded and would only be able to function in a job with a very repetitive task, with nothing that could possibly throw a wrench in the gears.

Even the companies that are doing IQ testing for trades seek IQs of around 100, and they don't suggest anyone with less than that as a fit for job placement. Building a house isn't nearly as easy as you think, or as repetitive, and I say that as someone who has worked in the trades.

Jobs are getting increasingly complex and employers are starting to do use IQ testing as way to quickly skim the top of productive workers. If you look at the ranges they are putting out, you would quickly see that there are few jobs for people in the 25 percentile and lower, and practically no jobs for 10% of the population. They wouldn't even be able to get into the army.

The problem with psychoan is that its constructs are untestable due to circularity, e.g. Freuds defense mechanisms - "Im not sick in the head" -> "That is eactly how mentally ill person would rationalize his behaviour".
