Yes also there are many many doctors and dentists in Japan and unlike western doctors they don't try to screw you out of every yen. I had a friend his tooth collapsed it was fixed next day at the cost of 3000 yen. It isn't free but western (((dentists))) will ruin you. Japan has a VERY strict legal code, they can even hold you without charge for 30 days, use sleep deprivation for confessions, but they don't treat prisoners like animals once in prison. You're not going to get raped or murdered inside.
