Can we take a moment and give this tremendous bastard some credit? Bernie might have won if he had this guy's balls.
>>
>>129258530
You know he lost right? I mean he lost big time. May won. That's right, she's still the Prime Minister. It was an ugly win but just the same. She ran a shit campaign and made a shitty call in calling the election to begin with. But this is not a moment for Corbyn supporters to celebrate. So what if Labour's performance was unexpectedly mediocre as opposed to outright horrific? This is a moment to realize the importance of leadership and ask "what could have been?" had they had a decent leader, with a decent message, who could speak to more of the public.
>>
>>129258530
who
>>
>>129259148
He had far more voters than Ed Miliband

The thing with politics today is that they've become polarized, so there's been more of a move to the left and the right, and centrists tend to get bumfucked out because voters are disillusioned with the status quo and want change, whether it be towards social democratic values or more hard right wing ones
>>
>>129258530
bernie had no chance CAUSE THE DNC FUCKED HIM YOU RETARD. They were not even going to LET HIM run
>>
>>129259148
>call an election because you want more seats
>lose seats
>win
>>
He is what Tony Benn used to call a "road sign". There are two types of politicians: There are "road signs" and there are "weather vanes". The Road Signs point to where they believe the nation should go, and the Weather Vanes point to whatever way the fashionable wind is blowing. Corbyn gets my respect for being a true conviction politicians, but his nigger/muslim loving bullshit makes me want to puke.
>>
As right wing millennial in Britain it was quite shocking on how many of people generation were very on board with Corbyn all because he promised free uni and also a lot of pop stars were endorsing him and having interviews with him
>>
>>129258530
>still losing even though may massively fucked up
>>
>>129259780
Exactly. She's PM. Therefore she won.
>>129259447
There's no easy narrative of this last election or the two before it. Corbyn lost that election for his party and now the Tories will be in power for another 5 years. They'll likely pick up a few more seats in by-elections in the meantime.

I just don't get why people are congratulating Corbyn. Labour gaining seats isn't due to Corbyn's work, but to May's incompetence. Again, Labour's showing was mediocre as opposed to horrific. Let's not mistake this for good times.
>>
>>129258530

>may cucked him out of a majority by saying he'd lead a coalition of chaos

>not realizinng a corbynn led coalition with the snp will never happen because the snp steal too many labor seats

hearty kek
>>
>>129259780
FN got way more votes in France then they usually do.

Macron BTFO Le Pen won.
>>
>>129258530
THe DNC fucked Bernie, it didn't matter how good he was
>>
>>129260245
Also now that Le Pen is President and Labour has won in the UK leading to a soft brexit it looks like the EU is BTFO aswell.
>>
Finally an anti semite at the helm
>>
>>129259148
>Lost big time
>Gaining 30 seats
>Turning a sure Conservative majority to a minor collaboration
>In an election called because May thought it was an sure thing to remove Labour for good
>After half his party and the media tried to kick him out

u wot?
>>
>>129260448
>labour
>>>won
>>
>>129258530

Bernie had a NAP and got beat up at the DNC.
>>
>>129261050
All I have to say is that Labour now has the next 5 years to chew things over and keep telling themselves that this election was something "good" for them.
>>
>>129258530

He didn't lose as badly as we thought he would. Bravo.

May called an election to get more seats and it backfired. It wasn't a forced election.

Do you suffer from mental retardation?
They are in a better position than they were before the elections were held, May had an objective and she failed hard at achieving it making her situation worse.
These elections were a loss on her part considering the objectives she wanted to achieve.
Do you also believe the US won in Vietnam? lol

Can't believe people are bending over backwards to defend LOSER Corbyn and BIG LEAGUE LOSER May.

No wonder we no longer have an empire.
>>
>>129258530
As Donald said in a tweet, he's a fucking loser and we should only concern ourselves with winners.
>>

Maybe not big time, but he did lose. We have a tory PM and will do for a while. That's a tory win m8.

He sure showed his conviction when he pussied out of the brexit debate and backed remain, despite being a staunch eurosceptic his entire life.

brits are losing with this "win"

His 'success' led to Britain going even harder-right overall.

At best, a pyrrhic victory.

Which will suit May and her party just fine, even if it's uncomfortable from time to time.

LMAOOOOOOOOO

Yes, you can take a moment. In fact, take many moments. There's just something about the Comey testimony coupled with this election that has the potential to literally kill the Republican Party and things like Le Pen's right wing/global right wing politics. The YOUTH voted for this guy. Young people are broke as fuck. The right wing sucks at literally everything. Is it a thing? They suck. You can have nice people. Or assholes. Pick one. Nothing could have been better developments lately

>new jerusalem
would you kindly fuck right the fuck off and do it yesterday? In probably 2000 years NOT ONE politician has been openly accused in the media as being an anti semite. At least in the West. There was even an article about Corbyn in a Joo paper that literally said, headlining, "May loves us Corbyn WON'T EVEN TALK TO US". We all know that YOU YOURSELF, anon, have an agenda. Let alone anybody else. And Corbyn is all these based things. I give this IRA/Tory coalition about 6 days to survive or some shit
>>
>>129265362

The DUP are unionists. Idiot.
>>
>>129266312
Tories are crapola. Anyways. Bye!
>>
>>129259148
>May won.
I've seen happier winners - oh, that's right, you're too stupid too realize, she got fucking annihilated. May herself, however, is not. She started with a reasonable majority, she called a needless election against an unelectable opponent to increase this, she ended up with a minority government that wont last a year.. I think she's already tired of winning.

I think really the best take from this that I can conceive is

Labour
>Huge voter turn out in youth
>Populist candidate
>Politics shifted to two party politics hugely favouring them
>Extremely generous and financially 'accounted' (Shallowly accounted though, struggled against critical analysis) manifesto
>Tactical voting went greatly in their favour
>"Remainers" banded together
>UKIP Labour voters returned to Labour
>Only 4 seats more than 2010

Conservatives
>God awful manifesto - worse I've ever seen and expect to see
>Lost key core supporters especially in the pensioners
>Alienated voter base
>Looked weak as hell for refusing debates
>Arrogantly strolled through expecting a win
>Campaigned in all the wrong places - Neglected swing seats expecting an automatic upswing of Conservative votes and focused on seats typically considered out of reach and remained out of reach.

A hung parliament is the perfect expression when taking it literally. There are no winners.
Corbyn acting like a victory only goes to prove his dense as fuck. Thornberry being a smug cunt calling for May to concede and stand down with only an exit poll was embarrassing. May showed herself to the public as a complete and utter draconian, out of touch moron yet wanted to run her campaign like some presidential election and will be known for throwing away a landslide victory to end up as a hung parliament within the period of a month. The worse thing is David Cameron now looks like a saint when it's career, centre politicians we want the conservative party to start moving away from to be more representative of what a conservative party should be.

I'll give him credit for being even more of a Commie than Red Ed, but still winning a better result.
No sarcasm, I'm genuinely impressed. Goes to show how SHIT Red Ed was I guess.
