I began to read books before political marketers started hammering on the word liberal, so I know that every single mainstream political ideology anywhere within the western hegemony is liberal.

Some people are conservative towards their approach of applying liberalism, some people are progressive, but all are liberal.

Whenever I see anybody using "liberal" to represent a distinction western ideology, I know that I am talking to an ignorant person who likely has nothing of value to say on the subject of politics.
