I attend a WELS church though I consider myself an independent Confessional Lutheran. Read the Book of Concord, or at least the Augsburg Confession, in order to see why we are the closest to the Word.

What you should do, is learn who Jesus is, and he taught, and what he did for you. You do this by reading the Bible, and possibly praying too.

Repent of your sins, believe in him, and be baptized, then receive the holy spirit.

It makes more sense that he was justified by man. A very specific man in this case, being Isaac. Isaac now believed the faith of his father, and they even offer sacrifice to God together immediately after the event. This also guaranteed that Isaac would pass down the religion of Abraham to his kids. It makes more sense and creates greater continuity with the rest of The Bible if James is talking about justification before man
