it keeps streaming arabic nasheeds (prayer music), and some guy talking... except, it doesn't sound pre-recorded. like, it's actually live.
it's in the north of germany no less.
it doesn't help any that it seems to go offline rather randomly.

that's a shortwave receiver. shortwave radios are used for stations that don't want to be found.
for example, russian number stations use(d) shortwave, because shortwave is nigh impossible to track. the only thing that can be determined is a very, very rough geographic area

Don't germans need a brodcasting licence to do that though? Not sure if true or not; i only assume so because of how there is a push to require a broadcasting licence for social media, youtube, ect. And i would assume that the same already exists for radio if that were the case (or maybe I'm thinking of the UK, not Germany).
