After months of neutral and objective observation and careful analysis, I have been able to identify what's wrong with this board. We've ignored this problem for too long and stood idly by as a vicious cancer befell /pol/ and spread with inconceivable speed, hoping against reason that the problem would correct itself. But it didn't.

By now we've all realized the only way to save /pol/ from plunging further into irrelevance, and turn it into a mature board for discussing politics is to decrease American shitposting by an order of magnitude.

I suggest the following measures.

>Create a containment board for Americans
Creating a dedicated board for Americans (I suggest /lard/) and making posting only there mandatory for all Americans would triple the discussion quality on all the other boards

>Perma-ban for infractions
Permanently ban every American who gets caught posting on any other board other than /lard/

>Punishment for ban evasion
Permanently ban every American who tries to evade the ban from the Internet for life

>Mandatory internet license
We require drivers to go to driving school and pass a test before we let them participate in traffic, and we should require Americans to learn spelling, grammar and critical thinking skills AND pass a test before we let them on the Internet

>Increase Australian shitposting
The only thing that will stop a bad guy shitposting is a good guy shitposting. We need to attract more Aussies to this board in order to increase the presence of their brilliant shitposting, thus countering and drowning out the lameness of American "HURR DURR ARMERIGGAN EGGZEPDSHUNALIZM, NOW RECHARGE MY MOBILITY SCOOTER" crapposting.
