How widespread is traditional peasant clothing in Russia? I am interested in how certain social/ethnic groups have been able to sustain the use of such dress despite the ravages of the 20th century.
>Second attempt at a serious thread since the mods moved it to /bant/ last time (which is not a reasonable replacement for /pol/ but is just /b/ with flags). I have reworded the question to more accurately reflect the political intention.

go to /int/ with this shit
This is how our wonderful, beautiful white women dress while under the dreaded patriarchy.
Look at how miserable and oppressed they look. They all wish they could be working fifty hours a week, popping Prozac, overweight, no husband and childless, the "liberated" modern feminist woman.

>How widespread is traditional peasant clothing in Russia?
I saw such clothing more in the smaller towns (Suzdal, Vladimir) than Moscow/St. Petersburg (as you'd expect)
