Only reasonably intelligent people see the New McCarthyism for what it is.

What do we do now? Do we just sit back and let Russia do what they want?

Nice try, KGB
Does /pol/ choose to not believe this story?
How curious is it that this is the only "conspiracy" that /pol/ does not jump on.
Two options:
1) Russia did not interfere with the US elections. That means the democrats and neocons are full of shit and not to be trusted.
2) Russia interfered with the US elections and put its own President. Means Russia is more powerful than the US. And dems are still not to be trusted, because the leaks revealed all the corruption.

Option 2, but how would that make your country more powerful? It was just terrible phishing scams and propoganda spread through memes and by clueless shills thinking they were advancing conservative agenda.
The leaks revealed no corruption at all. As if the DNC is a government body. Plus, the leaked information was merely proposals on how to knock down Bernie Sanders in favorability.

In no way do I consider Trump to be willingly knowledgeable of what was going on. It was no fault of his own, but you cannot deny Russia tried to influence the election through various methods.
>>128793441
desu I think our government tried to interfere somehow, but its influence is exaggerated.

It is not that hard to influence anybody. Sprinkle a little truth on a big lie and you have them on the palm of their hand.
What we saw with the DNC leaks. Did Hillarys team conspire against Bernie Sanders? Yes.
But is it really government corruption? Not at all. But wikileaks would not tell you that.
