Personally I think vouchers don't work because they amount to funding religious (Catholic) schools with federal money, but I am conflicted as to whether they should be allowed to discriminate against allowing gay kids. I can see arguments against letting trans kids in who want to play on opposite gender sports teams and use their bathrooms and locker rooms, but I would hope they would let gay kids in who aren't causing a ruckus.

The main problem with vouchers is they will be used by Muslims to send their children to Islamic schools, and you won't be able to stop it.

education is a state thing anyway, you should be asking if the federal government should even be involved at all, and why schools costs so much anyway (tons of schools nowadays are pushing for 1 laptop/ipad for every kid and shit like that)
kids should be homeschooled anyway, to avoid jewish propaganda and revisionism

Schools can have a behavior code just like a dress code and it doesn't violate anyones rights. Children (minors) should not engage in any sexual activity while at school and homosexuality is an activity not a choice, lifestyle, gene or any of that shit.

Better than them colonizing human schools and then enforcing their bizarre social afflictions on real people.

then you clreary don't understand the concept behind vouchers and free choice. The idea is that you let public schools compete with private schools. If they fail, you let them fail until they switch up the administration. While that is going on, the parents have the ability to go to private schools with the voucher, which doesn't hurt the children. Letting the public schools continue to be shitty is doing more harm than letting them fail.

what you said is valid but read this whole article. There are benefits "Other studies have found that voucher programs boost college enrollment and completion rates, especially among minority and low-income students."
I think that it is going to take time for the system to balance out. No improvement from the free market has ever shown up after 1 year of experimenting with it. The theory still remains because students are flooding from public schools, indicating that they are simply unhappy with the system. Whether or not improvement will show, I think it will take at least 5-10 years to be definite on its results.

and to add onto this. You aren't automatically put on the voucher school choice program. Only middle and low income families can apply for it. Key word is that you apply for it, it isn't truly a free-market school system. A real experiment is having all middle class and low income students vouchers
