British values are something to be proud of it's your origin. Just like how Japan and America or even Chinese should be proud of where they come from. Without values we are nothing more than a country without identity. Just look at EU and how much they forget to be proud of where they came from and should not need to save refugees that do not read or write and could care less about them.

As for integration and terrorism really the problem is letting more in is not going to make the country better. Liberals forget we need talented immigrants not ones that are poor and can not do anything basic.

Just read an article quoting the former MI6 director saying May's naming of Islamic terrorism is risky....And you know what? He's probably right. Also no, there is no such thing as British values. It's pure myth building in the hopes of trying to set yourself apart from the Other, even though the vast majority of nations , and especially yours, throughout history have always been a melting pot of cultures.


Whatever positive traits you take for granted and wish to exemplify as being inherently ' British' exist within other nations, the same way the negative traits - which you conveniently tend to brush under the rug when glorifying your own nation(how's that for cognitive dissonance)- are present around the world.
