It's not a "version" of Christianity that needs to change or anything like that, it's us that needs to change. As far as interdenominational fighting, I'd say the fault lines between denominations are a weak spot when we are not being attacked by non-christian forces. But primarily, Christians are more than tolerant of one another, and do stick together against a common threat.
