What's frightening is that the US will likely end up sleepwalking into a long, costly war with China in a decade or two, when a much easier victory against the country could have been achieved any time before the 1990s.

Just look ITT at the Europeans not caring about what goes on over there in Asia. Why would the UK or France give a shit if India nukes Pakistan or if the Kims nuke South Korea?
