Maybe. Europe collectively would have fought against them, but the US probably wouldn't have been involved. The US Civil War is so misunderstood because people don't get that the whole country was basically a collection of smaller countries at that time (a confederacy... hence the Articles of Confederation). Each state was basically it's own country. Hell, each state even had its own currency for the first 50 years. The southern states viewed the US government at the time the same way we view the United Nations now. If the South had won the war, each state, including the Northern states, would have become independent of each other and would at best only be drawn together via trade deals and military alliances, and would only use military force in self defense.

It would have been great if the South won. Dindus would have been trapped there.
The USA would still be very powerful. The South stagnated relative to the Norheast and Midwest.
the CSA would have likely annexed cuba and some other islands. Eventually dindus would be freed but they would have apartheid till at least 1990. maybe they would have been genocided/ sterilized for gibs, maybe the CSA sends them to an island like hispaniola.

I hate to say it, but the Southern Whites were mainly English, UIster-Scot, Scottish and Irish people, mainly English though. The North actually had much more German immigrants fighting for the Union, as well as many other European ethnicities, including Italians, slavs, freed african slaves, and so forth. So the North was more diverse while the South was much more homogeneous.
