Hockey is not a purely athletic game, it requires high IQ and you can't just chimp your way out of it like you can in other sports:

Basketball is just jumping and running and they are no doubt superior there

Jews only make up 1% of the population yet they dominate intellectual fields, blacks are probably around that in Hockey yet no dominance. Even the blacks you list aren't elite, Subban is a top 15 D and Simmonds is a top 10 LWer. There have been enough blacks in the NHL to show that their superior athleticism doesn't give them a big advantage in Hockey for two reasons:

1.Hockey is medium endurance, low to medium explosiveness, high IQ decision making game

2.The variables in Hockey make it difficult to rely purely on athleticism when you have a million things to keep in mind, the puck, the bigger players, the faster players, their sticks, the boards, where the goalie is, how much net is open etc

Other games are simple enough that despite their poor decision making due to lower IQ they can get by on their athleticism. Look at QB in the NFL, there are a few good black QBs like Vick, Mcnabb and Newton, but they're not even close to the whites, why? Too much IQ required so their superior athleticism is negated, Hockey is like QB in football on steroids.
