the point is the near free fall of the towers given their MASSIVE internal steel columns. they did not melt or weaken from office fires.

Even presuming thermal expansion cascaded failure on the outer shell which carried like 30% of load - theres no reason why the buildings would collapse as they did from fire.

The interior columns simply were not compromised by impact or fires.

And for near free fall, something else had to provide much more energy.

I have no idea what that was, but if the laws of physics were the same, much more energy there needed to be.

By examinating the video, you can see that the beam he put in that furnace was being feed with air mixture.

This feeds the fuel-air mixture to tge apex of its temperature.

In a normal circunstance, of fuel just being throw at beams, it would never melt, nor even glow white hot, because the poor air mixture would cripple the temperature to such a extent, that the beam would still be hard rock solid.
