I had to defend capitalism during my time at Berklee College of Music. I described that giving money to PBS was bad for artists because essentially name one good album the government had made. "That's not how it works" my teacher said, thinking that so long as we fund bullshit "art programs" somehow we will make poor kids happier. The whole class was on my case too, it sucked.

All my humanities taught me is that if you just need to half ass it. Paper about some book? Spark notes and Wikipedia. Book is too obscure to have spark notes? just quote the book a lot and make up a source. Hell I quoted shit posts on /pol/ in some papers, made them sound like I got an actual person to interview rather than just reading a book.

Humanities are a fucking joke.
