Trust me, stay away from psychedelics. They do "enlighten" you in a way. It's just a different, more autistic perspective of the world. BUT they can, and probably will fuck your brain chem up.

Highly entertaining. You'll enjoy for a few months. Then you'll take a few years long break and reenjoy.

It does change your brain chem. If you are well adjusted, you wouldn't be interested in the first place. A few months of mushroooms can cure depression for some people.

Yes they are very much entertaining and I recommend anyone seriously interested in expanding their intellectual horizon give them a try.

A good intro option is carfentanil. A little hard to find but it is out there, and gives you a quick trip by snorting just a couple grams!

Psychedelics give you what you want - if you want to see trippy shit, you'll see trippy shit. It's kind of a waste after a few times though, psychs are capable of so much more.
If you're logically minded, there's all kinds of fun hacking shit you can do to your brain - alter mental connections, block out memories, change behavioural patterns and habits...
I managed to quit smoking instantly by mentally "burning" the connections to the habit, for example.
