Time will tell, but currently we are in quite a decent place, right now the highest limiter on TFT is living space availability in big cities. There is a number of projects to help with that but it will take time to implement them.

Among greatest concerns held by native Russians is displacement by caucasus and central Asia, however I for one think it is overblown. But than I'm from Caucasus, so my opinion is biased.

well contrary to most people here, i have actually been to russia and its not that bad. Not that dirty and people are actually friendly. Very white population (depends where you go).

A lot people are degenerate in bigger cities but if you go to midsize cities or to "student" cities, it will be a lot like norway or denmark, I mean that in good way.

Exactly the reverse actually. The vast majority of new births are attributed to predominantly slavic regions, while the muslim birthrates have been declining for half a decade in a row. What does the lifestyle for the average person seem to be in those more normal towns and cities?

I have a few Russian friends I know online, and their lives seem pretty good, though I don't think they really represent the average Russian, they're more on the upper-middle class end of the spectrum with lawyer and engineer parents. But they did say that Russians have gotten more patriotic since 2014 and are making more of a conscious effort to improve the country, mainly out of resentment for the EU.

It's complicated really. Our political system can produce radical shifts in outcome, nevermind our precarious geopolitical situation.

Right now Russia is in a decent place as far as countries go. Big cities are on par with europe as far as quality of life goes, but not as far as spending power of an average citizen. On the other hand they have a very healthy society compared to modernday europe. The locals are mostly Russians, the immigrants behave in more or less the same way as Russians.

There is also hella lot depending on what you call good. If you like the idea of suburban lifestyle with your own house, than you need to be ready to fork out quite the sum, cause lol heating aint cheap, nor is land in areas that are worth migratig to. If you are used to a more urban lifestyle with appartments and city crowds, than you are in luck, the bigger the city in Russia the more likely it is to be well taken care of because in the restoration effort after 90s places that can produce more money were given priority, with Moskow and SPb leading the charge as it were. It resulted in a quite unequal nation where some villages and small towns still face many issues reminiscent of 90s but bigger cities are quite well off.

Typically the people live in a big enough appartement, have a dacha (a weekend garden house), have enough money to take yearly 2-3 trips to crimea or sochi. It isnt that bad. I mean, its pretty good, I dont remember when I had my last vacation

Not really, he is the head of "liberal clans", he did exactly what was expected of him, and after reset with US failed returned to his position as the head of the de facto opposition.

Russia has always had Muslims in the Caucasus region, it's no doubt their population will increase.

Plus, the economy is gradually adapting to the sanctions, and is becoming more independent from foreign business. There is already growth each year, and soon enough the Russian economy will fully recover and be back at previous levels.

The point I was more getting at was if now that the birth rate is increasing (even if it doesn't exceed the old people dying off), once that older generation dies off, will it stabilize?

Career chasing surely does it's part. But as a person living in the country with the lowest birth rate, the death of moral, and family values is the main cause. People want to be princesses and princes. No moral, no ambitions. The complete abandon of traditions (approximately 1 century ago Bulgaria had the highest birth rate in Europe and probably the world).
